About

I am an aspiring Scientific Illustrator, Tattoo Designer, and Digital Artist with work spanning a variety of media and subject matter. I am currently an Art major at the University of California Santa Barbara, and previously attended the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts. I have a strong basis in STEM, particularly in biology, as I originally entered my University with plans to pursue that field. I have always been torn between art and biology, a conflict which I feature in many of my older works. Through Scientific Illustration I have found a means to merge my two loves, and have since found several opportunities to gain experience in the field and gain a talent for communicating information through visual means. I still maintain a love for the more abstract, and often find ways to merge both my creativity, as well as my attention to detail.
